Dr. Yogini Sheth has worked as an anesthetist at Nanavati hospital in Mumbai for 33 years. She studied at M. P. Shah Medical college in Jamnagar and completed her post-graduation from Mumbai University. She is the general secretary of Maniben Nanavati Women’s College, affiliated with S.N.D.T University. Promoting health and well-being for students is her passion she is actively managing Medical camps for anaemia and thalassemia detection, nutrition, and hygiene with N.S.S. activities. She prioritizes skill development and women’s entrepreneurship. As the medical chairman of Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Airport, she conducts cardio-pulmonary resuscitation demonstrations for children and teachers in educational institutions are a core part of her work. She is on the Managing Committee of Yusuf Meherally Center at Tara, Maharashtra, where she supports the upliftment of Adivasi girls through education by providing free boarding and facilitating the improvement of formal health services through the hospital. She is also a Managing Committee member of Mumbai Jain Yuvak Sangh. Imbibed with the principles of Jainism from childhood she is motivated to promote Jain literature and philosophy.
